Hungarian Bagpipes
Hungarian bagpipes are characterised by one drone with a single reed, and a chanter with two bores and two single reeds.
One bore is melodic with seven finger holes in the key of A major. The second has only one hole, A/E.
Natural cow horn is used on both the chanter and the drone.
Traditionally Hungarian bagpipes use closed fingering.
All of the reeds are made from carbon fibre.
On request I can also make Hungarian bagpipes in other keys.
